Possessive Determiners

🧠 What Are Possessive Determiners?

Possessive determiners show who something belongs to. They come before a noun and tell us who owns or is connected to that noun.

Examples:

My name is Anna.
His car is red.
Our teacher is kind.

✅ How to Use Possessive Determiners

They must be followed by a noun.
They do not use apostrophes.

Correct: That is my pencil.

Wrong: That is mine pencil.

Wrong: That is my's pencil.
